Bambusa Gracilis

Bambusa textilis Gracilis, known by various names such as graceful bamboo, fairy bamboo, and slender weavers, is a fast-growing bamboo species from South East Asia, prized for its elegant, thin stems and delicate green leaves. Reaching up to 5 metres in height and spreading approximately 2 metres, it is perfect for a privacy screen or hedge in gardens, patios, and outdoor spaces, adding a tropical touch with its lush foliage. This bamboo thrives in full sun to partial shade and can be pleached, providing another visual option. 

Bambusa textilis Gracilis expands in a circular form to the full width of the available space, necessitating a spacing of 50cm between plants to accommodate their bushier tops. A shoot barrier is recommended along fence lines to direct growth. For optimal health, plant in good quality soil with a slow-release feed and ensure it is not left to dry out.
