Coprosma rugosa - Tiny Tots

Coprosma rugosa, commonly known as needle-leaved mountain coprosma, is an evergreen native. Its distinctive feature lies in its wirey, orange-green twigs that interlace and give it a unique and textured appearance. The shrub typically grows in coastal regions, sandy areas, and forests, adapting well to a range of environments. Coprosma rugosa is admired for its resilience and ability to withstand harsh conditions, including strong winds and salt spray. Its small, inconspicuous flowers are followed by vibrant berries that transition from green to red or orange, adding a delightful burst of colour to the landscape.
