Olearia avicenniaefolia is an attractive shrub or small tree, growing to 6m with masses of small daisy-like flowers. The thick leathery leaves are shiny green on top and covered with white-coloured tomentum below. Naturally occurring throughout the South Island from sea level to 900m.
