In summer, it produces delicate clusters of tiny white to pale lavender flowers, adding a touch of beauty and charm. Ideal for cottage gardens, herbaceous borders, or as a feature in pots near pathways or seating areas where its fragrance can be enjoyed. Thrives in full sun with well-draining soil. Protect from frost and prune regularly to maintain a bushy shape and encourage new growth. Space plants 60–80 cm apart for larger plantings or grow in containers for easier winter protection.

Watering: Water regularly during the growing season, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Reduce watering in winter, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.
Pest Control: Monitor for aphids and whiteflies, especially on new growth. Treat infestations with insecticidal soap or encourage natural predators such as ladybirds.
Disease Management: Aloysia citriodora is generally disease-resistant but can develop root rot in poorly drained soils. Ensure proper drainage and remove any affected parts if rot occurs.
