Plum Red Beauty
An early variety that can be harvested in December and January. It produces medium sized fruit, bright red with a purple blush and sweet, juicy pale amber flesh with a semi-cling stone. Needs to be pollinated with another variety such as Billington. They grow best in a sunny, sheltered position with moist, free-draining soil.
What is a bare-rooted tree?
Bare-rooted trees are deciduous trees that have been grown in the ground and are dug up when they've become dormant in the winter. The soil is shaken from their roots and they are bundled up with their roots packed in moist material to prevent dehydration during transport.
