Hemerocallis Crimson Icon is a charming evergreen daylily with bright, crimson-red miniature flowers accented by a vivid green throat. Flowering prolifically through summer, this compact variety is perfect for adding vibrant colour to small garden spaces or creating eye-catching borders. Its evergreen foliage ensures year-round interest, making it as versatile as it is beautiful.
Ideal for mixed borders, cottage gardens, or container planting, it thrives in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil and moderate moisture. Space plants 30–40 cm apart to accommodate its compact, clumping habit.
At maturity, Hemerocallis Crimson Icon forms a neat clump about 40 cm tall.
Trimming: Remove any spent flower stalks after flowering to tidy the plant. Trim back foliage in late autumn if it looks untidy.
