Calocephalus brownii

Calocephalus brownii, also known as Silver Bush or Cushion Bush, is an unusual and eye-catching evergreen shrub that is native to Australia. This plant features a compact, rounded form, with small, silvery-grey leaves that are covered in fine, downy fuzz. In summer, Calocephalus brownii produces clusters of small, yellowish-white flowers that contrast beautifully with the silvery foliage. This shrub typically grows to a height of around 30-60cm and has a similar spread, making it an excellent choice for planting in rock gardens, borders, and containers. Calocephalus brownii is drought-tolerant, low-maintenance, and thrives in well-draining soils in full sun or light shade.
