Its standout feature is its variegated foliage, with bold green leaves edged and streaked with golden-yellow, providing year-round interest even when not flowering. Perfect for modern, tropical, or coastal gardens, Gold Strike thrives in full sun and well-drained soils. It is drought-tolerant once established and ideal for borders, containers, or as a focal point in garden beds. Space plants 40–50 cm apart to allow for its clumping habit to shine.
Mature size: Reaches up to 60–70 cm in height and 40–50 cm in width, forming a dense, clumping mound.
Trimming: Cut back foliage in late autumn or winter once it has died back naturally. Remove any yellowing or damaged leaves during the growing season to maintain a tidy appearance.
Deadheading: Remove spent flower stems after flowering to encourage further blooms and prevent self-seeding, especially if managing invasive tendencies.

Disease Management: Agapanthus are generally disease-resistant but may develop root rot in poorly draining soil. Ensure soil is well-draining and avoid overwatering.
