Sophora chathamica
Sophora chathamica is commonly known as Chatham Island Kowhai. This tree has large, dark-green leaves which fill the stems, giving it a dense aspect. Golden-yellow flowers bloom during spring attracting birds and bees. Hardy. Once mature it can reach 3m tall.
