Blechnum penna-marina

Blechnum penna-marina, also known as Alpine Water Fern, is a hardy and low-growing evergreen fern that is native to New Zealand and can also be found in Europe, Asia, and North America. This plant features delicate, finely-cut fronds that are typically blue-green in colour and form a neat, compact rosette. Blechnum penna-marina typically grows to a height of around 10-15cm and has a similar spread, making it an excellent choice for planting in rock gardens, borders and containers. This plant is hardy and easy to grow, thriving in moist, well-drained soil in partial to full shade.
