Blechnum discolor
Blechnum discolor, also known as Crown fern due to its arching fronds and dense, crown-like center. It is an easy-to-grow, native ground fern, found naturally in Auckland. This species thrives in moist, shaded environments, making it a perfect addition to woodland gardens or as a lush groundcover. Blechnum discolor doesn't like to dry out, so water well to establish and add organic matter to the soil. Grows 1.2m long and 15cm wide.
