Leptospermum Huia

Leptospermum scoparium Nanum Huia, commonly known as Mānuka, is a very hardy dwarf evergreen shrub that flowers abundantly during spring. The tiny, dark green, glossy foliage nestles upon reddish branches, creating a striking visual contrast. This plant features clusters of rose pink flowers with crimson pink centres, adding vibrant colour to your garden.

Preferring a rich, well-drained soil, Leptospermum Huia will tolerate coastal conditions and is an exceptionally hardy plant. It grows well in full sun to part shade and has a medium growth rate. For best results, prune as desired and fertilize with a long-term, slow-release fertilizer.

Ideal for small hedges and borders, Leptospermum Huia also looks fantastic in decorative pots and is great for general landscaping. At maturity, it reaches a height of 30cm and spreads to 45cm, making it perfect for compact garden spaces.
