Coriander

Coriander, also known as Cilantro, is a fast-growing, aromatic annual herb with delicate, bright green leaves and clusters of tiny white flowers that bloom in the summer. This hardy plant reaches mature dimensions of about 50cm in height and 20cm in width. Maintenance is relatively straightforward: regular watering is essential, though overwatering should be avoided. To encourage leafy growth, it's important to remove any visible flower stalks. Coriander prefers a sunny spot but can tolerate some shade and requires well-drained, fertile soil to thrive.

A staple in kitchens around the globe, coriander leaves add a distinct, fresh flavour to dishes, while its dried seeds are used as a warm, sweet, and slightly citrusy spice.
