Corokia Phantom

Corokia Phantom.  This corokia is an attractive, medium-sized, dense-growing shrub, suitable for small hedges and topiary. With intriguing, dark chocolate-brown foliage that turns pitch black in winter, the silvery undersides of the leaves and new growth give a shimmering effect. Small, yellow, star-shaped flowers bloom in summer, which glow against the dark foliage. The red berries which follow in autumn are attractive to birds.  This stunning small shrub is happiest in well-drained soil and full to part shade, but is tolerant of salt winds and extreme dry which makes it versatile.  Grows to a height of 1.2m and a width of 1m.
