Buxus microphylla Winter Gem

A compact, dense rounded shrub. New growth is lime green maturing to a deep glossy green which in the cooler months has a distinct bronze tinge. Small yellow green flowers are produced in spring. Trim in late winter early spring to maintain desired shape. Excellent for low hedging, topiary or as a specimen. Position in moist well drained soil in part shade, can also be grown in containers. Evergreen. Hardy. 90cm x 90cm.
