Calamagrostis Karl Foerster, also known as Feather Reed Grass, is a highly popular ornamental grass cultivar that features upright, narrow green leaves and feathery flower spikes that emerge reddish-brown and turn golden-brown in summer. This low-maintenance plant is ideal for adding height, texture, and movement to garden borders, mass plantings, and naturalistic landscapes. It is drought-tolerant and thrives in a variety of soil types. Typically grows to a height of around 1.2-1.5m and a spread of about 60-90cm.
