Camellia Transnokoensis - Field-Grown

Camellia Transnokoensis is a large evergreen shrub or small tree that reaches a height of 3 to 4.6m and spreads to a width of 1.8 to 3m at maturity. It has an open and upright growth habit and produces small white flowers. This plant prefers partial shade to full sun, with some protection from intense afternoon sun. It thrives in well-drained, acidic soil with a pH between 5.5 and 6.5. Regular watering is necessary to establish the plant, and it appreciates some moisture during dry periods.

Field-grown plants are grown directly in open fields, enabling their roots to spread and develop naturally, resulting in larger size, established root systems, and increased resilience. When transporting these plants, hessian, a coarse fabric made from natural fibres like jute, is commonly used to wrap their roots, providing protection during transportation and handling.
