Parthenocissus quinquefolia

A vigorous, large deciduous climber. Leaves with five ovate leaflets, turning bright red and orange in autumn. For the best autumn colour, site in partial shade or full shade. Flowers inconspicuous; berries blue-black. Not suitable for wooden trellises or screens as tendrils work themselves between the boards and are difficult to remove.
