Apple Winter Banana
Produces a bright yellow fruit that develops a pale rose-pink blush as it ripens. It has crisp, tangy, and juicy flesh that is highly aromatic with a mild, banana-like flavour. Can be used for cooking, juicing or eating. A late season variety that is partially self-fertile but will produce a better crop if cross-pollinated with a variety like Granny Smith or Monty’s Surprise. 5m x 4m. Moist soil. Full sun.
What is a bare-rooted tree?
Bare-rooted trees are deciduous trees that have been grown in the ground and are dug up when they've become dormant in the winter. The soil is shaken from their roots and they are bundled up with their roots packed in moist material to prevent dehydration during transport.
What are the benefits?
