Agapanthus Blue Finn
Agapanthus Blue Finn is a compact, deciduous variety that showcases stunning deep blue, trumpet-shaped flowers on short stems during summer. Its tidy clumps of narrow, green foliage make it perfect for smaller gardens, borders, or containers. The rich blue flowers create a bold and vibrant display, adding depth and colour to any planting scheme.
Ideal for cottage, contemporary, or coastal gardens, Blue Finn thrives in full sun and well-drained soils. It is low maintenance and moderately drought-tolerant once established. Space plants 20–30 cm apart to allow for a dense, uniform spread.
Mature size: Grows up to 40 cm in height and width, forming a compact, clumping habit.
Trimming: Cut back foliage in late autumn or winter once it has died back naturally. Remove any yellowing or damaged leaves during the growing season to maintain a tidy appearance.
Deadheading: Remove spent flower stems after flowering to encourage further blooms and prevent self-seeding, especially if managing invasive tendencies.

Disease Management: Agapanthus are generally disease-resistant but may develop root rot in poorly draining soil. Ensure soil is well-draining and avoid overwatering.
